This was the second game in the last two weeks that the weather was supposed to be cold and possibly raining but instead ended up being very good. First, a big thank you to MXS, Mike and staff (EMR) and the refs for a very enjoyable game. Thank you to the opposing players, teams and command for a hard fought game and the majority for their stand up play, especially during Saturday. I have never seen so much hand shaking, "good jobs" and even a hug apology from an opposing player. I wish it had carried over to the same degree through into the night and next day but the level was still way above normal. The Germans: Yabo and Davi (German command)... You guys did a fine job and it was an absolute pleasure to serve you. You pulled together so many newer players and teams into a group that did what needed to be done solidly during all three phases of the game. German players and teams, it was an honor serving with you all and meeting so many new faces. I really hope that we get to play along side each other at some future games. We had invited a variety of players from various fields that we go to who many were first time scenario players. The feedback so far has been very positive. It was a pleasure playing with our friends from the small RTD group that attended, a great, hard working group of guys and stand up players as always. We've now had the pleasure of playing with several players from Blitzkrieg during the last few events. These guys are a stand up group and very good players. It's been fun. This was a good end to the 2003 event season.
