: i have been playing paintball for over a year now. i currently have a 98 custom, with a dye excel barrel, expansion chamber, gas thru stock amd remote coil. i wanted to get an a-5 but i was wondering if it is all its cracked up to be. We have a paintball store (General Chester's Paintballs), we sell and we use the A-5 with response trigger. There is also an adapter for the A-5 now so you may add a drop-forward to the gun. It will distibute the weight a little better. The part is made by Lapco. But the A-5 is the best gun for your buck by far. It very easy to work on and very durable. Also if you learn to use the response trigger correctly it is one of the fastest guns on the field. |
