Hey man,

Tippmann makes almost all of their guns rough and tough, this one is as tough as the 98. I have used an A-5 and a custom 98 with a response trigger... I still prefer the 98 with a response trigger (I own one with the r.t.). The A-5 in my opinion has more weight to the right of the gun with that built in hopper, and it weighs more than my 98 c. Grab the A-5, feel it, fire it, and imagine taking it around corners, and anywhere else in the game. In my case it felt way to awkward to use tactically on the field. It is a great gun however, it's durable, does not chop as much paint with that built in hopper, and it's ready to go right out of the box (might want a new barrel but thats it). My 98 custom with the response trigger shoots about 20-25 bps, so I imagine the A-5 (which has the response trigger installed in it already)would do the same. I have a halo hopper and that has solved some of the chop problem, but not quite. Before you buy the gun though go to the store feel it, and don't buy it from that person if they won't let you dry fire some air through it though.

Shoot to thill Play to kill,
