Yes it is but on a full moon night it is of limited use except under the trees and even then it is iffy with anything other than the very best equipment. To counter it crawl below the bush height and they night vision is still blocked. I've played with and without. It is cumbersome and best utilized in defensive situations of fixed implacements such as bases. Again this can be defeated by using something between you and the scope. High powered lights also cause night vision huge problems. Hope this helps. Hugh |
