About 8 years ago, a kid I knew came out to play with us on a regular basis. He was 13 at the time and just your typical Pain in the @$$.

After a few months of playing his mother called me to tell me how much he enjoyed playing the game and the time that we spent with her son. She then proceeded to tell me how the sport brought her son out of his shell ( so to speak) that he was very recluse since her devorse. He witnessed time and time again his father beat the livingtricycle out of his mom, and finally watch as his father was taken to jail. This was very tramatic for him and he became with drawn from everything and everyone.

After he started to play, he began to come out some. She said that the first 2 days of the week, he wouldn't say much during dinner, Wednesday he began to to talk about playing, by friday, he wouldn't shut up he was so excited about playing on sunday. She contributes the sport (and us) with helping her son through a tough time.

My friend who was 13, is a young man, I resently stood next to him as his best man as he and his lovely new bridge as they exchanged their vows.

This is a true testimonial of how paintball had a positive influence on someone.
